Since these disks are not magnetic, there is no need to worry about it affecting the operations of your device. Directions are as follows: clean the device where you plan to mount the disk with the supplied alcohol pad. Wait for it to dry and then apply the disk by removing the red backing. Apply disk to the device. Attach the metal clip to the visor. Then bring the device up to the clip and the magnet on the clip does the rest. The clip has a keyway so it will center onto the clip.
